The Cloud Circle reaches its first 63 members in the first 4 hours!

Due to popular demand, The Cloud Circle launch marks the first independent Business and IT focused Cloud Computing community confirming the need and demand for an end-user led on and offline Community for drivers and practitioners responsible for their Cloud initiatives.

Over 63 expert practitioners joined The Cloud Circle’s free and independent community solely devoted to Cloud Computing in the first 4 hours.  Members include CXOs, Directors, Heads of and project managers from American Express, BBC, BT, Carphone Warehouse, Diageo, HMRC, Metropolian Police, Unipart and Vodafone as well as smaller sized organisations.

Is it hype? The real deal? Potential benefits? Risks? And most importantly what does it all actually mean? Organisations are leaping at the opportunity to learn more and once and for all discover whether that silver lining indeed exists in the mysterious cloud.

‘I know that the future is Cloud Computing but just cannot get my head around it - I am looking to take up the next generation but in the most seamless way. I am really looking forward to hearing about what everyone else is doing and what the pitfalls are to avoid!’ – says one New Cloud Circle member.

The Cloud Circle boasts that its hosted community in particular will make the concept more accessible by simplifying what has until recently been a highly complex, mysterious and technical environment through its free and dedicated on and offline information resources. Indeed the figures say it all.

After just 4 hours of registering membership, The Cloud Circle recruited 63 members to join there Community and unsurprisingly expect tremendous membership growth in the run up to Christmas. This exceptional result puts The Cloud Circle well on the way to a truly successful drinks launch, due to be held in February followed by a series of round-table brainstorming events and interactive networking Forums, the first two on 20 April and 16 September 2010.
