Obtaining real business value through enhanced collaboration, innovation and customer engagement was top of the agenda yesterday (Thursday May 19) as more than 240 business and IT professionals joined us for The 5th Cloud Circle Forum at the Park Plaza Hotel in Victoria, London.
Speakers from Google, Microsoft, IBM and EMC were among those on the bill for the event, which featured keynotes, case studies, a panel debate and networking. Inside the broad theme of collaboration and innovation topics of discussion included board level buy in, the changing role of IT and the environmental opportunities associated with the Cloud.
The delegate list featured a mixture of business strategy and technical IT roles with some of Britain’s largest blue chip companies represented, as well as SMEs, public organisations and academic institutions.
Emma Taylor, Founder and Managing Director of The Cloud Circle, said: “Yesterday’s event was fantastic. We’ve now had five Forums and they just get better and better each time. There was more people with projects there than ever yesterday and everyone was eager to get involved in the panel debate. A lot of questions were answered and a lot more were raised in the process, such is the nature of the beast. I’m pleased to say that our Forums and other activities are fast becoming must attend events for anyone seeking the latest need-to-know info on Cloud Computing.”
Ms. Taylor extended her thanks to all of the sponsors, speakers and delegates that attended yesterday’s Forum.
Due to this Forum being oversubscribed, it will be repeated on July 7. If you are interested in attending please contact Sophie Hardman by telephone on 0207 960 6551 or by email at sophie.hardman@thecloucircle.com.
