Company Overview:

We are the leading provider of load testing and performance monitoring solutions that test, monitor and optimise cloud and mobile applications. More than 250 customers, including Newsday, PWC, eBay Sweden, SF, Avanza, SMHI and Thomas Cook use Apica for the highest possible performance standards globally and in the Cloud. Apica’s products are uniquely designed for cloud infrastructure and have performed some of the largest published load tests ever conducted. Apica WebExcellence Suite includes Apica LoadTest, Apica WebPerformance and Apica WebOverload, for testing applications for maximum capacity, daily performance, improved load times and protection from peak load.

Product/Solution/Service offerings:

Cloud Testing
• Load Test your applications Cloud scalability
• Identify the Cloud configuration bottlenecks
• Validate your Cloud redundancy and failover
• Stress Test your max performance in the Cloud
• Monitor end-user response time to the Cloud

Cloud Testing - Why is it different?
When you test cloud applications you need to validate and verify the specific Cloud functionality such as redundancy and performance scalability. Many cloud providers have dynamic instance creation of new servers based on CPU load and failover to other availability zones as standard.

But does it really work, and/or is your application written in such a way that it can take full advantage of these features. This is actionable results from a Apica LoadTest. We will also guide you in the jungle of configuration of Load Balancer and Front-End cache system based on best practice from many different Cloud projects.

Testing Cloud application also provides the implication on deciding form where to test in order to mimic the real user load. By default it is probably not a good idea to test from the same cloud provider or availability zone. Apica have load test servers in all major clouds and from typical physical locations around the world.
We will test your cloud application to the limit regardless of your backend infrastructure.

Cloud Testing - Apica's three-sided approach to cloud computing testing
Sustain:
We help clients migrate to the cloud – with sustained performance. Concerns about performance in the new environment are addressed as we plan, test and monitor the client’s Cloud performance.

Enhance: We use the inherent flexibility and scalability of the cloud computing test platform to take the client’s Web performance to new record levels.
Service.

Delivery: Apica’s own cloud testing and monitoring services are deployed in the cloud. This means that we’ll be able to create wildly fluctuating load test and web monitoring scenarios, mimicking the nature of today’s volatile Internet traffic
